I have been seeing more and more fixed gear/SS bikes in the racks around the east side. I am interested in buying one mostly to see what the big deal is. I am a mountain bike rider mainly. All the bikes I have seen appear to be conversions so my question is, who is doing them? Some of the people I see don't seem to be the type to work on bikes (just my guess) so it leads me to believe that some shop is selling them. Can anyone point me to a shop and tell me around what they are going for ?
