Long Distance Competition/Ultracycling, Randonneuring and Endurance Cycling - Another seatbag recommendation thread

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
What's a good one that won't cause problems with my carbon seatpost? I have a race style bike, so I have no eyelets or anything like that either. I'm just looking for something that can hold tools, spares, and maybe things like a pair of walking shoes and light jacket if possible and hold up to the elements.
Thanks!

Walking shoes? The largest seat bag made is the Jandd Mountain Wedge III. You don't have to use the Freddy bungies that come with it. Otherwise an aluminum seatpost would be the way to go. Then you can use a great variety of rack bags. I just got a Detours High Tail which I like very much, but no carbon post with this sort of thing.

Look at some of the Carradice bags along with a Bagman support, that does not need to be attached to the seatpost.

Walking shoes?
If I'm going somewhere, especially for a few days or whatever, it would be nice to not have to walk on my cleats all the time.
