Hi all,

I'm Dave from Portland, OR. (Tigard) actually. I started reading this forum and liked it so decided to join. I use to do a lot of mountain biking pre kids but am new to road biking - except I use to ride everywhere on the road when I was a kid. My mountaib bike is a Schwinn Moab II al. That thing is built to last... I put that poor bike throught the test day after day then garaged it for a couple years to assist my wife with having a couple kids. After getting it out again and with a few minor adjustments, it ran like the day I bought it.

I just recently purchased a new road bike, Felt F90. I'm just under 6'5" so it was hard to find a fit. The F90 63cm seems to work pretty well though.

Talk to you all later,

dvickery

Hello Dave, as you are undoubtedly aware, there are many enthusiastic bike riders in Portland. Check in with the Pacific Northwest thread and say hello to more of the locals.

You can find Portland riders especially in the Commuting and Living Car Free forums (for good reasons :)) .

Welcome to BF!

Hey, welcome!

If you want to ride with a club, I'm part of the Portland Velo (http://www.portlandvelo.net/). We meet on Saturdays at 9:00am at Long Bottom's Coffee in Hillsboro. They are a great group.

See you around.
