Sorry tolfan, the bigbossman beat you to it. I guess there's a reason he's the reigning bike flipping champion of Northern CA...or is it the entire West Coast? :)

Not in the spirit of this thread but...I'd keep the bike for a female riding companion, the frames suits all but the tallest women. OR keep it for a short buddy.

It might fit my mother well, but she prefers her feet on the ground. My wife takes a 56 cm frame. My daughter is 2, but I imagine she could grow into it. However, I'm confident I'll be able to find her an appropriate frame when the time comes.
But right now, I need some space!

You flatter me..... :o
For the record, this one is going to be built for my 11 year old daughter. Currently, she has a newish Giant FCR road bike with flat bars. Now that she is actually completing metric centuries, I've been looking at buying a new, "real" road bike for her. The flat bars just ain't cutting it for longer distances, and the Giant is not worth upgrading as I'd need to change the whole shifter brake controls anyway. And then there's the V-brake/STI lever thing to deal with afterwards. Easier to just do a frame-up build on a comfy steel frame.
I'm probably going to build this with 8 speed Sora, assuming the trial fit goes as planned.

But wouldn't you rather have it picked up than go to all the trouble of shiping?:D Just kiding, I found a 47cm schwinn sprint in metalic blue that should work.

Well, I finished packaging it...and I think I agree with you now! Just kidding, bigbossman! Not so tough to package, but I tend to be OCD about it, so it takes me longer than the average person.
Anyway, this just popped up on my local CL. 41 cm Miyata roadbike! Looks like it may have 24" wheels? Tolfan? East Hill?
