Introductions - Any other Cincy Noobs

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well, I am not exactly a noob, but I have not been on a bike in years. I am building a new road bike and will complete it this weekend. I also have a nice montain bike! I am looking for other out of shape but working on it friends. I would like to organize a few road or park rides. I think that we could all encourage each other. Not ready for CCC rides or anything like that. I am also a very experienced wrench, if you need a hand in that aspect. For riding partners I am seeking men or women who want to start out with regular leisurly rides. I live on the west side of concy (Colerain) and would love to find riding partners in the area! Not a long drive, or ride to Miami Whitewater too! I am over 40 and still somewhat clyde. I won't be tearing up the pavement! Work out at a gym in the area too, if that is of any interest!
Let me know!!!!!

Welcom from an eastide noob here. I just posted my intro yesterday. I live in Batavia, work in amelia near the 275 exit. I ride mountain only for now, would like a road bike in the future. So far I have only ridden with a group of friends of similar skills/ experience at East Fork SP. We are looking forward to trying some of the other local trails, Ceaser's creek, Paint Creek, Hueston Woods etc.
we'll have to hook up some time

thanks, I managed a local bike shop in the 90's...We ran a mountain bike time trial out of Harbin Park in Fairfield, small park but not too bad. As far as I know you are still allowed to ride there.
