Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Was anyone else able to take advantage of the great weather this morning? I did the shorter PBA ride, which was 47 miles. We had a huge turnout this morning and had a great time. No rain and no wet roads:D .
I was stuck at home waiting for a phone call from my father to see if he needed my help picking up a chair. A call that never did end up coming. *grumble*
I really need to figure out how to get my log-in on for the PBA website emailed to me. The 'forgot password' thing isn't working for me. Either it is broken or I'm not giving it the information it wants.
No jersey but I was on Renner and covered in mud. (back was 80% brown)
Ah, must have been someone else...there were a lot of people out that evening.

Yeah it was really nice yesterday...didn't get an early start, but still got in 20 miles before attending to the "Fourth" stuff.
Now I'm drying off after getting dumped on coming in from my lunch break. Looks like a pretty big system coming from the E/SE, and the 10-day forecast is looking bleak with 7 of 10 days with a 40% chance or better for T-Storms :( Oh well...at least we can watch the tour this weekend if (when) it rains.
So I just went out into the garage to work on finding a tick in my wheels. Found the tick, but just the act of touching a bike brought on a downpour. Torrential rain. The sidewalk in front of my house was like a mini white water rapids. Oh, I found the tick, it was a loose spoke. Tried to get the spoke tight and the got the wheel way out of true. Off to RBM to let them do it right.
