I am buying a helmet. For the model I want, I can choose between a white (with few graphics) and a black one.
The black one looks cooler, but I was wondering about if for being black it would get much hotter than the white one.
What do you think? Do you have a black helmet?
Or, they will all be the same hot anyway?

Thanks for helping.

Makes no difference. The foam inside the helmet insulates from any abosorbed solar heat. It's essentially the same stuff used in foam hot beverage cups, just denser.

I chose white recently - just figured it was a bit more conspicuous.

I love (and hate) Forums. Some people answered that it makes no difference black or white, and others said it makes a big difference...
Any more inputs?
Thanks

Black will be hotter on the outside...but with vents you won't notice :)
