For all those that ride the park on a regular basis, let's not be strangers!
for this forum, post info about your bike, helmet, clothes, physical stature, smell, when you are usually out etc. If you have pics, even better! It will be like that episode of Seinfeld were they put the pictures and names up in the lobby and we can all say hi!


I'll start

Name: Ian
age: mid 20's
Bike: 98 Trek 5200 (raw carbon blue tires, trans am saddle, threaded converted to threadless stem)
Clothes: Usually an old MS150 bright yellow jersey (believe me, you will recognize it)
Helmet: red, blue, yellow, white GT helmet
Shoes: Adidas (black red, sliver)
in park: monday, thursday, sat and sun in the morning, Tuesday and Friday around 4
occupation: Psychology grad student/school psychologist

I will probably not be going so fast, and maybe listening to music (yes, i know, dangerous)

I'm there sporadically whenever time permits..
Matt, mid 20s, I'll be on either a grey/cream Lemond or a black Cervelo, Black helmet w/ dark glasses, Black Sidi shoes, as for the jersey.. Monopoly. =o)

I'm there in the early evening, after 6:30, when I can get there after work. Also weekends if I'm not going somewhere else. In the summer I might go in the morning before 6 to beat the heat.

I usually keep a good pace of 19-21 on the flat parts but we all have our bad days. Today's 3 lap average was 19.2, not bad for me. I find it funny that the limiting factor on avg speed in the park isn't the uphill, its the downhill. You can only get up to around 32 which isn't quite enough to compensate for the uphill.

I'm usually wearing a white/gray descente or black/red/white cw-x jersey.
You'll usually find me on a gray bike with black wheels.
