I am living in Astoria, Queens NY. Just moved here from Norway and looking forward to start biking here. I found this forum very useful when I looked for a hybrid bike and decided to go for a Trek 7500fx.
Nice meeting everybody.

Hello EasyGee, check out the regional forums and say hi to the locals (except for the Astorians :D) .

Are you planning on commuting with your hybrid?

Welcome to BF!

Thanks for the nice replies.
Yepp, left Norway for New York and lovin' it. The local Spartans here in Astoria have treated me nice so far. This is truly the capital of the world. I am planning to commute from here, can't wait. The warm wind in my face and the skyline view in front of me, a good way to start the day.

Don't forget cab drivers, doors, and random pedestrians.
