BMX - Hey Fit, I feel your pain bro

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Owie. Just the x-rays look bad.

And collarbones are something that can't be 'set' or made immobile with a cast. That's bad luck, irimi.
Ouch. Stay out of trouble, no moving around too much.

Good luck and hope you get better soon.

I wouldn't quite say you feel my pain... but I'm sure it hurts. Feel better soon. Enjoy your pain medication while it lasts.

I've only taken pain meds for my foot. Didn't even bother with the ones they gave me from when I broke my hip, ankle, hand, wrist, or ribs.
That being said, I have a lot of spare pain pills chillin' upstairs.

that looks painful, and you have a HUGE leg

Mine was actually worse than that. A broken fibia isn't so bad, and you only got external fixation. I have internal and would have a few rods but I'm not done growing.

Well damn. I want to see your x-rays.

I shattered the whole top of my tibia. Not the fibia. At least I get this piece off in 3 days thank god. In the x rays, the bone is just shattered like into 12 pieces. I have no plates or screws, when I get the brace off all metl is out of my body. I don't know how I managed to do this on a trampoline.

Off the bike injuries suck the most, it's just no fun to explain to people what you did.
At least with mine it's somewhat interesting.

Mine really wasn't so interesting either. People hear manual and shattered leg and it doesn't go down so well.

Wow trekbikedude. That must suck really bad. Also, Fit when can you actually ride again without pain?

I've tried riding for the last few days and I've felt pretty good, but I have to really wait for the doctor's "okay". Don't want to mess it up more than it needs to be.

True. If you mess it up even more you'd be screwed.

Speaking of injuries...
Today i was pulling weeds/grass outta the ground to make way for a new jump in my line and i grabed a pricker bush. It was painful. :(
Yeah that's right it's almost as painful as breaking a leg and stuff!
