Oh, all right :D .
Don't be too nervous, that's what the Introductions forum is for--so you can get used to being on a forum.
I have not heard of a Kobi--do you have have photos?

If you're looking to find an older frame to start from, come look around the Classic and Vintage forum. There's at least one gent who's not too far from London who is quite skilled at locating good deals on some nice, older bicycles.

Aye, we would highly recommend this (http://www.bikeforums.net/member.php?u=35882) gentleman if you are looking for a good frame.
this site is fantastic. (and thanx for the info) I checked my emails and read that you all responded...thnak you all...I dont have a pic of my Kobi asain build...i dont have a digital camera either..ooh yeh and I dont have a computer at home...!!!!!!! but I am saving for all these things and for my first serious personal bike build. I came across fixed gear london .com...emailed them for info on builds..does any 1 know if they are still around or if the site is dead.??? been emailin but no response. Nice site though with great pics.
thanx for gettin back. I just learned about the londons callin 07. looks great so maybe see some of there if so you can spy on the Kobi, though not too much it has a ripple on th down tube. It arrived that way from ebay. But still rides like a dream so pressin ahead with contacts to build a new one. Do you know much about the Kerrin Frames? Are they medium quality builds. OOOH yes could I ask what the meanings are of luggs and brazens?? bye

Hello Hussy, I've just gotten back from holiday, and missed this post!
Lugs are the way bicycles were put together 'back in the day', instead of modern welds.
Here is a fun look at lugs:
Braze-ons are usually for cable guides and what not. They are 'brazed onto' a bicycle frame, but are not an integral part of the tubing.
