My first Tri (sprint distance) is in 2 days, and I am wondering what everybody wears on their head during the run.

Ball cap?
Do rag?
Stadler-style visor?
Nothing?

I like a thin coolmax type hat.

I wear a coolmax visor. Around here most wear nothing on their head.

Me personally, I go with nothin' on the head. If I were up to longer distances where heat and sun were more of a factor due to increased time, I'd probably sport some cover.

Very nice, rplong.

Now if only I could figure out how to keep the beer from bouncing out! :)

I wear a coolmax type hat as well mainly just because it helps keep the sweat out of my eyes.

Scull cap, the same one I wear under my helmet. It keeps the sweat out of my eyes.

Oops. Make that skull, not scull. Darn coffee just isn't working this afternoon. :o

thin cap or visors are popular
