Hi, Judith here!

I have been a bicycle woman for several years now. I saw Chicago Critical Mass once and was so charmed and excited that I had to get one so I could play with the cool kids. Now I ride everywhere, all year nearly (don't bother with snowy slush 'cause I am too delicate for that).

I am pretty much going to read and learn for awhile, but thought to introduce myself proper was neighborly. Hola companera/os!

OH, have one question. I have an old Miyata 910 that is perfect better than perfect but it's just too perfect for me. Wanted to see how much it might be worth, so that someone who would appreciate it more than me could do so. I am a milk crate and bungee cord kinda woman, and such bike is too wonderful for me. I have the original handlebars but put a straight on on for utility. I have also buggared it up with a rack and baskets on the back, but all that sacrilege can be remedied easily. It's in perfect condition, original hardware, oh, there is a white scratchy place on it but the paint (anarchist red and black and very groovy) is all sweet and shiny and intact.

Is there a place that properly such questions should be asked? If so just let me know and I will wander over there.

Welcome Judith! I think you might be looking for the Classic & Vintage forum for your Miyata.

If you are a bike expert, would that be an expert in classic and vintage bicycles? Then let me steer you gently but firmly here (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php?f=181). Or are you an expert on bike mechanics? How about here (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php?f=10)?

Where are you located, James?
