Can anyone tell me if I can take a bike trailer on the american tobacco trail around the raleigh area?

I dont see why not. Ive seen people doing it before. Keep in mind, tho that the only paved section is in Durham I believe.

ok -I've never ridden it before. I was thinking of going to the entrance near apex/holly springs --taking my mtn bike.

you can definitely take one to the ATT. i bring mine all the time. the only rough area is the very beginning at the trail head off uhm, great, i cant think of the name of the road. i always start at the entrance off exit 89. the very beginning is a steep downhill, all of about 20 feet. the rest is nice, smooth sailing. love the ATT. fun to ride and scenic. have fun!

if thats not your cup of tea, bang a left off the exit instead and check out the single track at Harris Lake. :)

It's been a while but I've been to the biking trail at harris lake before. I've also been to the trails near the airport(crabtree?) Just that harris is much closer. Those are the only two that I've ridden in the area. Just don't have that much time unfortunately.
