Kinda short notice, but here goes
Appalachian Spring Spectacular Bicycle Ride / Sunday May 6, 2007
Choose a 25 (or 30), 45 or 60 mile ride on scenic low traffic roads. Routes are moderately hilly and challenging for moderately fit cyclists. The longer routes approximate the original routes of the Appalachian Spring Spectacular almost 30 years ago. Each ride includes a food / water stop, map and cue sheet with road arrows (Dan Henry's), ride leaders and limited sag support. The $10.00 registration fee also includes a post ride pasta feast ride at the West Virginia Brewing Co. Registration starts at 8:00 am at the Wharf Street Parking Garage in Morgantown off South University (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&ll=39.627606,-79.960889&spn=0.016262,0.028925&z=15&om=1&msid=117802252966370743403.0000011254616f01a4802)and adjacent to Deckers Creek at the Caperton Rail-Trail. All rides start together at 9:00 am.
