Hello Fellow Riders,
I would like to start with a THANK YOU for having such a vast amount of information posted on this forum.
I am new to the MTB scene and dove in quite quickly. I purchased a Specialized Hardrock Sport and love it dearly. I can only imagine how much better the higher end Specialized units feel in the trails.
Enough about me, if there is anything you want to know just ask.
Thanks again,
Be safe,
-Danny :)~

Hello,
I have walked my local beaches trails, lol.
Are you asking about one in particular? I live on the south shore near the Hamptons if that helps.
There are so many beaches lining the south shore of Long Island and Fire Island.
There are five or six state MTB trails local to me also.
Thank you for the prompt post,
Be safe,
-Danny ;)

It was the 'Sand Tasting Noob" that provoked the inquiry...:) .

East Hill,
I cordially apologize for my absurd vernacular...lol.
I wrote that as my "title" because I went trail riding for the first time this week and received a mouthful of sand off my girlfriends rear tire. My mouth was agape due to all the huffing and puffing I was doing.
All I can do is laugh about the whole experience because she did not do it intentionally. I hope :p!
Sorry again,
Be safe,
-Danny

No need to apologise, I thought it was quite funny. I also hope that your girlfriend didn't do that intentionally :D .
A few more outings on the bike and you won't be doing the huffing and puffing, but you will still enjoy your experience.
