I hope I got you crazy BF So Cal'ers attention. :D I don't get on here and post that often but am looking to see if there is any interest in joining me for a midday ride this weekend with a post ride stop for some grub and cocktails in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Looking at about 60 miles starting from HB and doing a loop down the coast with a little bit of climbing. With early morning obligations, won't be rolling til 11:30 - noon. Here is the link to the route i am doing and am hoping I get a few takers. First postride round is on me if that is an incentive. ;) Come on people, let's ride!!! Any takers???

I would take you up on your invitation but seeing how you dropped me on the Jax2Jax ride you might as well be riding by yourself:D. Seriously, I too have obligations otherwise I'd go. Have fun.

I decided to join Paul and a friend for this ride today. Didn't start until 1:00... the weather was awesome, except for the ever-present head/crosswind on PCH heading back home it was a great ride! Sorry you couldn't join us, Greg. Hopefully we'll see each other on a ride soon!

On a side note... friend is a very strong rider (of 20+ years) and didn't seem to be too bothered with my "slower" pace. Slower for him (and Paul!) anyway.... a bit challenging for me as we kept at about 20 or so on the flats for most of the time. But to give you an idea, he stayed in his small ring to keep his pace down. :roflmao: :o

How'd the saddle and seatpost work out?
Mo' they worked out just fine. Comfy the whole ride... although I have the nose tilted up just a bit too much. A slight adjustment and all should be good! The micro-adjust on the seatpost is great - what a difference from the older one I had. Thanks for that tip, btw.
I'm anxious to get to the 300-400 mile mark on this saddle. That's about the point when two other saddles I was using started to really hurt after being perfectly fine before. I think that point will be the deciding factor. :)
