I decided to not take my bikes on a trip to Hungary and Romania, starting next week. Ryan Air and train transfers, it's just too much hassle.
DOubt we will have enough time in Romania anyway . THe towns we are staying in we will be with a family exchange program. Will be too busy with our host family. Possibly some limited time for cycling about Brasov, ROmania, with a little luck.
MOst of the cycling time will be about Eger, Hungary and Budapest. My question. ANyone know Budapest. And Eger. We have thee days in each area to relax. Like to cycle about Eger's wine district and Lake Blanton west of Budapest.
ANyone know in Budapest or Eger where bikes can be rented.? The Hungarian travel service had no recommendations. How about Hungarian cycling. Is it pretty good.
