Hey y'all,

Just found this place and it looks like an amazing group of folks. I think it's great to have a place where I can address my questions. Anyway, here's a little bit about me:

My name is Ian and I'm a student at DePaul University in Chicago Illinois. I ride a fixie conversion - 53cm unknown road frame with rear Suzue flip/flop hub w/ 16t Surly cog, Mavic MA3 rims, unknown cranks w/ 52t chainring, cheap pedals w/ steel toe clips. I've been told that my bars are Cinelli but I'm honestly not sure. No brakes etc. Here are some pictures:

I love fixed gear and dunno if I could ever or would ever WANT to go back to any other type of bike. Maybe when my knees give out on me...

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like you are hard core. I'm moving to your town in September to go to U of Chicago GSB. I'm looking forward to life in a big city and an improvement in the weather. See you around the forums...

Repp5: I'm not hardcore, I'm just too dumb to mess with derallieerrrzz and other words I can't spell. Simple is better in my book. And cheaper too! Best of luck finding the weather improvement though, Chicago's not the best for winter.
