Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Michelin Speediums on closeout. Not too OCP, I hope...but don't they complement the graphics nicely? :)
First club ride of the season tonight -- WOOHOO!

You were nearly right- They are OCP.

Yeah, but the saving grace is, I don't have a matching jersey. :)

Glad you haven't.
I have to admit that I got red tyres to match the red flashes on my Giant- But the red is not quite such a good match as yours- That is almost perfect.

Good look! I need to get some yellow tires for my wife's black/yellow Giant. I just got her a black/yellow helmet, she doesn't know it yet hopefully she'll approve!

Please post pictures of the black/yellow Giant with yellow tires. I have been trying to avoid that for my black/yellow Giant and want to be sure I'm doing the right thing.

Haven't got the tires yet. Here's her bike w/ black tires:

Another Giant in Red. The tyres do not match well enough to be OCP. Michelin Pro Race 2's in 23.

Indeed - I built the shed you see my wife's bike leaning against - it is slowly be transformed into a bike shed. Might need to build an addition.....

I've posted my Giant many times. I now have K-wing handlebars, but otherwise the same.

OK - I got new tires for the spring season - Michelin ProRace2's in blue to match the bike. I'd claim OPC, but I'd be thrown out because of the location of my frame pump.

We have to rename this thread. Giant bikes with matching Tyre colour
Must be the forum that does it aswell. All of these bikes are set up with the bars almost level with the Saddle.

Au Contraire.....you indeed can qualify for OCP, perhaps 3rd Degree. Your frame pump seems unobtrusive enough. In your favor is the tight, minimalist saddle bag; the functionalist matching saddle; double crank; trendy bottle cages; matching tires, of course; TCR not OCR model; etc.
To get to 2nd Degree, you'd need to lose the flasher mount on your seatpost and flip the stem.
Seriously........very nice looking bike.

Thanks, I love the bike. There are times that rear flasher comes in handy, maybe I should mount it to the seatbag somehow. As for the stem - tried it both ways, a bit more comfortable this way.

Levels of OCP beyond 3rd Degree are either unsafe, uncomfortable, or both. "Balanced" OCP (oxymoronic?) is our goal. ;)
