A Portland elementary school is in need of you. :)

A parent at one of the schools BTA is working with would love to find one or more 'tall-bike' riders to come out bright and early for a program at Capitol Hill Elementary School, located at 8401 SW 17th Ave. The program is called 'Walk and Roll to School' and it encourages kids to get to school on their own power. Tall bikes (plus their riders) would be exciting for the kids to see- and would hopefully inspire kids to get pedaling.

Tall bike riders would probably be asked to meet at one of the nearby gathering locations and ride in with the group of kids (most of whom will be walking). 7:10 a.m. is their meeting time. The date for tall bikers to help with is next Thursday, May 10th.

For questions or to volunteer for this- please contact Katharine Lawrence at.....

Wow....How cool is Portland !?!?
Aside from having Donna, Randya and capt iFun all in one place
they are making bikes look cool to young kids by going with a tall bike
instead of opting for the usual, nerd/Napolean Dynomite method that
makes kids think bikes might give you an STD or something........
Yeah Portland !! :D

When you ride a carbon fiber bike, the terrorists win. Alt bikers are true patriots.
