BMX - Thank god for blue jeans.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Because without them, I would not have a knee right now. I managed to escape with just some bruises, swelling and a small scrape.
On a similar note, if you look by my ramp now there is about 3 feet of aluminum shavings impeded in the driveway from my pedal hitting the ground and dragging.

Haha. Honestly, it doesn't look like anything happened. I guess you got out pretty lucky. How's your foot feeling?

It doesn't look too bad. Yes, how is your foot?
By the way, where exactly are you located? Kelowna? Or have I got that wrong?

Do it on gravel and blue jeans won't help much:
hahaha, mine has a cat in the bottom left too. That was from a couple years ago. It left a pretty nasty looking scar, I never wear shorts in public since my legs look like ****.

Oooowwwww!
Did that leave a scar?

Yeah, don't even talk about scars and nasty-looking legs. I take the cake. I'm never wearing shorts again.
EDIT: But Madman, that looks pretty nasty. It looks like how my arm was on my "accident." It went down the entire length of my arm, though. It wasn't quite a concern of mine, but I still have a bit of a scar from that (but it faded quite a bit).

Hahaha.
I always wear shorts when it's Summer/Spring. My legs have plenty ugly but shorts are the best.

Ya, the jeans took the brunt of it, which is why my knee is fine. I got lucky, my pedal didn't. Also, my knees are fine, but my shins look like the surface of the moon from racing DH without pads.
And my foot is still a bit sore, but the doctors say it's coming along nicely, about 100% in two weeks or so. I stil cant ride any street but things like ramps with transitions are fine.
EDIT for East hill: yup, I'm up in Kelowna, right where the fires were a few years ago.

Speaking of crashing, I went over the berm at the race tonight. The kid basically forced me over. I slid head first down the side of it and now I have a pretty nice scrape on my forearm.

I hope you got back on your bike and won.

If I was to be mean, I would make something out of that and call you emo- but that would backfire for sure.

I didn't win that race, because I couldn't, but I won the night.
Oh, and here is a crappy pic of my arm.

I shall wave at the crazy man on the BMX bike when we pass through on Monday then! Or, perhaps more likely on the way back :D .

I cut my knee open today, but it wasn't that bad. They got cut open on the clips while I was trying to learn how to bunnyhop. Defitenly not as bad as Madman2k's.
After neosporin and after I took off the bandaid, here's what it looks like:
Oh yeah, I decided to go ride Street bmx than flatland, I don't know why, but I felt like getting a street bike rather than ride flatland.

Bears first, fishing later!
My husband has decided to take the scenic route up the Frasier River Canyon to Cache Creek, to Highway 97 up to 100 Mile House (where we'll stop for the evening). Then on to this place:

He wants to see if he can spot the sheep at Spences Bridge--even though he knows his last chance for a Starbucks is in Kelowna :p .
