I finally decided to go hog out and purchase a ZZip chopper fairing to be used on either of my 2 SWB bents. I figured that the chopper version has shown to work on Haluzak's which I have (1994 Horizon) and when I tried it there was and increase in my average speed overall and down hill descents were good. No complaints there.
However when installed on my Challenge Distance I've found that it hinders my stability on down hill descents and also hinders my clear view of the road ahead. I feel like I'm trying to push a large volume of air aside as opposed of flowing over me.
Has any one else tried installing a fairing on a large wheel bent (26" front & back). If so how does it handle?
