Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - When Clydes Meet...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone ever meet other posters to the Clydesdale forum or other Bike Forums posters? I've ridden with two in the past three weeks. Here's one of them and his bike:

I was just thinking about this today. It would be cool to get some forum rides together, but I think I'm the only one in Nebraska :(

While on the subject of meet-ups, I'm in Cleveland, Ohio, next week, May 15 -20. Any Clyde or Bike Forum poster care to meet me for a ride? I'll need to borrow or rent a bike.
I live not too far from you, Historian. I'm in Cumberland County, PA, just south of Harrisburg.
"When Clydes Meet"
Sounds like a really bad "B" movie from the fifties. Or, a study in some physics class; The Implied Effects of an Imoveable Object Colliding with an Irresistable Force. Result: A Yard Sale.

Tom, I rode the trail today and they are still digging out that ditch that had the buried bulldozer last year.

Air and I have ridden a few times. Being Clydes, we've also discussed putting rides together for the sole purpose of eating cheeseburgers, ribs and hotdogs.

I'm in Northern KY, right around Cincinnati, OH.
I ran into someone on the forums a few weeks ago during a work-related workshop in Youngstown, OH. He's from Toledo, and I have no idea what his username on BF is. Real name's Greg, though.

This is a great thread but I am more of a visual person. So I made a frappr map for us here in the Clyd section. It should be at http://www.frappr.com/?a=constellation_map&mapid=137439688002

I've never ridden with anyone from Bike Forums. However, I'm in Central Florida if anyone is around. At 240, I think I qualify as a clyde.

Do you remeber "Amos, The Barefoot Amish Man"? He was the giant fiberglass Amish guy that stood in front of Zinn's. He now belongs to the Lancaster Heritage Society and stands in front of a restaurant in Strasburg. I can find you some good Amish cooking when you get here! :)
And anyone else that passes through Lancaster or Chester county... give me a holler! I love to cycle with people! I'm not fast but I have fun!
