...you remember the book "Bears on Wheels," right?

Here's our Sunday rig (cross-posted on the road forum). It's a Burley train! 1988 (?) Samba, Piccolo, and D'Lite. I haven't gotten real pedals on the tandem yet...

There are 2 kids in that trailer, but our middle child is ducking a bit :

Great pic. Did you all ride as well as pose?

Yeah, we were just getting back from a trip to the Veloway. Only about 10 miles, but the 20-month-old in back can't deal with too much more than that with his big sister giving him noogies and such in the trailer :)

Gorgeous!. I sent the picture to my four children, ranging in ages 25-13, the 25 and the 22 year old are of age to provide the grandchildren, though no prosepects yet. Looking forward to setting up a rig like that.

Cool. My only concern has been that the trailer may get heavy enough to skid the trailer bike in a corner or braking, so I try to keep it a little conservative in those maneuvers. Those two kids in the back are getting heavier pretty fast ;)

Have ridden one of those Burleys, and that X-frame in the rear is quite stiff + gives lots of standover room for small stokers.
Next get Mom her own tandem . . .

Yeah, that's where my brain is headed... I wish I could give her one of my legs too.
