this bike was on fgg a LONG time ago. If i remember correctly, it was made by a bike shop owner for his son, he might even be on here

I question the sanity of letting your 4-6 year old son ride brakeless. (Or is that a coaster brake? I remember the bike was on FGG tho.)

BTW, I'm impressed that the kid uses toe clips. Still, his face shows that things don't always go smoothly:)

The bike looks like it's in proportion to his body, but the cranks are suspiciously long.

Was the "road rash" left over from the kid's request for risers? I think that we have more questions than answers.

(two replies to BFixed in a row, I promise I'm not e-stalking. much.)

Hi, this bike was built for an editorial photo shoot and a couple art shows. hh racing hooked up the frame, and freewheel sf produced some custom parts. Not intended to ride as is, however there are some photos of jovantae turner cruising it. The cranks are 130mm bmx cranks. my son will not fit this bike for another 3 or 4 years. when he does, it will come with a coaster brake, riser bar, chain guard, remove the clips, and add training wheels. the face plant came from jumping off the stairs at the playground. the hat came from washing a wool cap in the laundry. still fun to look at, not so fun to ride.

PS, especially because your child is involved, very cool pictures and very cute kid.

That bike is begging for a completely straight double downtube that turns into the chainstays.
