I found this video on Woostercollective.com (a street art website), but I believe it would interest the folks in this forum.
Recently, in Lisbon, Portugal city officials hired artists to repaint crosswalks using the names of pedestrians killed by motorists. It was the highlight of "Safe Street Week" and has since been adopted by other countries as a method of creating awareness against the dangers of negligence.
