Hey i live in Northwest Indiana (near valparaiso) Just wondering if there are many people from the area that like to ride.At school the local bike shop has a group ride and the school has a cycling club but when im home i dont know of any group rides yet. let me know

Hey there! How far are you wanting to go from Valparaiso area? Furtherst west I've been is near Warsaw & Winona Lake, which is good. Might also check out the various online route mapping sites for ideas for good areas too - granted they might not have much in the way of group rides, but may have some suggested paths.

There is a bike club in Northwest indiana. It's called Calumet Crank Club. The website is www.bicycling.org they have several group rides every week.Many of the routes originate in Valpo.
