Southern California - 8th Annual Bikes-n-Beers!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

First off, welcome Rogue Rider. :) I'm not sure where Tustin is, but this and your other post/thread event sounds fun as well. The 20th is taken for me as I'll be on a GMR ride, but there may be some in your area who can join.

Tustin is where I live! If you recall the discussion we had about Newport/Irvine (where I got in trouble with CJ Bruin :( ) Tustin is just East of Irvine. Basically it's central Orange COunty. The Path of the one of the shops I generally recommend to mountain bikers.
TO the OP... where are they riding??
They are starting in Peters and going to the three B's and back

The Path Bike Shop
Presents
8th Annual Bikes and Beers
What: An annual tradition of riding and socializing
When: Sunday May 20 at 8:30 am
Where: The Path Bike Shop parking lot
Rough agenda: Meet at 8:30 for "coffee." Rally in the parking lot ‘till around 9:30. Ride ends at The Tustin Brewery where we will hang out on the patio and they will give us a deal on beer and pizza.
Disclaimer: Mountain biking can be dangerous. The Path, its ownership, staff and affiliates are not responsible for you on this ride. This is a casual event. There will be no official ride leaders, or course marshals. The course is not marked, nor is it specific. There are many variations, and some people will do extra loops. If you do not know the area, ride with someone who does. If you need to be introduced to someone who knows the area, and/or who will be riding at your level, just let us know.
The general course: Exit the Path parking lot and make a right on B Street. Make a right on Irvine BLVD. Left on Tustin Ranch Road. Left on Pioneer Parkway. Follow the horse trails to the Peters Canyon South entrance. Through Peters Canyon. Up Jamboree to Santiago Oaks. Up the three hills known as um….you know, female dogs...down towards Irvine Park, and back to The Tustin Brewery.
Notes: It is recommended that you ride to this event, however if you are driving, it is a good idea to leave your car with a change of clothes in the parking lot of The Tustin Brewery before the ride.

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome to these boards...
Yeah, we are primarily a MTB shop, but about 20% of our biz is road stuff - come check us out sometime; we would love to meet you...perhaps at Bikes-n-Beers!!
Thanks,
Mondo
Sounds like fun I have aways wanted to check out that shop.
