Burley touring bikes do not often appear in this forum. They seem to be less well known than many of the others. From what I have seen, Burley seems like a fine company. Does anyone know these bikes?

Any evaluations or observations about them?

Last year was there last year of production. I looked at them too when I was bike shopping. They seemed very nice.

The Vagabond and Hudson are great bikes, but Burley doesn't make bikes anymore. They had some problems over the past few years and have paired back their business--they dropped their entire bike and rain gear lines and only make trailers now. If you can find one in your size, buy it. They're great bikes made from True Temper Platinum OSX tubing, lighter than many touring bikes (IIRC the Hudson was 22# stock), and well-made with a good component mix. They show up on ebay every now and then--I saw a Vagabond on their this week in fact.
