Well, I did better than last week. According to one of my team mates, I finished 17 of 25.

I met riskus and Ghostman. It was cool meeting them in person. Riskus and I spent a few minutes lamenting over our tactics.

All in all, I had a much better time than last week. I plan to go back on the 16th, but first I need more interval and hill work.

Where are you getting the elevation data from?

You looked good for most of the race I watched. You seemed to be up near the front of the pack. How many team mates did you have? I saw one that wasnt doing too well.

The elevation data comes from a baro sensor in the PM and grade comes from a tilt sensor in the PM.

I had two team mates, but as you noticed, one wasn't doing well (the oldest of us 3 and with the less mileage for the year) and the other doesn't have a team jersey (the youngest of us 3). He finished ahead of me, because he had enough left in his legs to do the finishing sprint to the line.

My biggest sin, this race, was trying a mid-race breakaway down the long hill going into the hard right-hand turn. I got a gap, but I was caught on the rollers on the back stretch--wasted energy. From then on, I was a marked man. Many of the other racers tried to keep me hanging in the wind whenever they could, but I found a wheel anyway.

No. I'm using the always controversial iBike. But, it's interesting to note how similar my data came out to riskus' PT in this thread:
