Southern California - Ok, who saw me on the SART today?

I was in the front of about 8 guys heading south near 1st St., and between being half deaf and the wind I wasn't sure what I heard. I kind of had my head down when I passed someone coming the other way and one of my buddies said that the rider had said "Hey Ralph".
Were we hearing things?
