Have done it the last two years. It is FLAT. The biggest "hill" you climb is over the highway. Rest stops are usually about 25, 50, 75, 90 mile points. Great for a first century if that is what your looking for.

I can't add much to that other than, don't let the flat fool you....if it's a windy day you might be wishing for rollers. ;) The roads are usually in great shape and have very little traffic.

I hadn't heard of it before this post, but I am looking for a few rides like this. How many people usually ride? Is there a website with details or to sign up?

If I don't have a race that weekend I'm totally in. I've heard about it some, and I want to give 'er a whirl. I'll be the kid with scary legs riding something common.

I'm kind of wanting to do an organized long ride before this event. Any Ohio guys know any good ones to do in July or August? thanks!

If you want to get a jump on this ride look at end of June Flat 50 plus in Decatur, IN
its just about as flat

I did the HHH once the last 30 miles were 95% due east right into the wind :(

It competes with what became one of my favorite rides
the 2 day Old KY Home ride Louisville-Bartstown , KY http://www.okht.org/

As an alternative consider the Hope ride Hope, IN it probably a week later one of best run
one days http://www.mustdorides.com/

The wind around here usually comes right out of the west, unless you are really tired.:D
