Post ride pleasure? What about before ride pleasure? I've made chocolate oatmeal for breakfast followed by a Stonyfield chocolate yogurt with some chocolate milk before a morning ride. Ummmmmm so good.

If you can't tell, I looooove chocolate. I'll take just about anything but something with almonds or nuts other than peanuts.

For the run of the mill it's Hereshey's Special Dark. For a real treat, I love dark chocolate with truffles. Dark Chocolate is rich in anti-toxins. Yea, that's why I eat it.

Me thinks you missread the title of the thread; it was "what's your favorite chocolate". Sugar + soured milk + a cocoa bean doesn't qualify!!!

The new Hershey's 70% cocoa is pretty good. Godiva is even better, though priced more like gold.

It even comes as a recovery drink. ;)

Scharffen Berger 70% Cacao Bittersweet that I buy in the grocery store. I've always liked bittersweet chocolate, and I started buying this stuff for an evening snack when it started showing up in grocery stores. Just about everything else tastes like slime in comparison, even so, I really like the new dark chocolate M&M's.:)

I also make my recovery drink with light, chocolate soy drink and chocolate Endurox (with a bananna & ice).

Home made mole' sauce with freshly ground mexican chocolate is really good too.

Walmart sells a pretty good chocolate (Belgian I believe). A big bar is about $1.50 as I recall.

Well you must have forgotten an awful lot, since all I ever hear from you is "correct", "incorrect" and "Assos." And let's not forget all the oh so helpful and informative Bongo posts. Why you are just a walking encyclopedia of cycling.

Which provided no information on cycling.... He went sight seeing on his bike. We have a forum for that. It's called touring and it is filled with people who do the exact same thing. It says nothing of his cycling knowledge....just like his posts.

Here is an example of his cycling brilliance.

Have I ever claimed to be a mechanic? No.

Shall I look up some of your nuggets of wisdom, Marge?

Nope, I don't think I'll bother. You're not worth it.

pps. slowandsteady, that post by Botto that you linked was actually exactly what I would expect in the road forum. It presents a problem that might be solved by the collective intelligence and experience of the members. I don't know what I'd do in that situation, either, so I can understand why Botto would post asking for advice.
