General Cycling Discussion - Not having a bike SUCKS

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My bike is in the LBS being fixed from my wreck I had about a week ago. This is the first time in a while I've gone a week without the opportunity to ride. The weather has been really nice, excellent riding conditions. I've been running, but we all know how being in shape for the bike is different from running. I have a century in Boone, NC on the 28th of this month, I hope I don't lose any strength or endurance during my non-riding period. Oh well, I just needed to tell some people who can understand my withdrawl.
This is one of many reasons that every serious cyclist should consider having more than one bicycle. Between tear-down, professional repainting, and rebuild, the Capo will be down for at least a month. In the meantime, both Peugeots are getting quite a workout.
