Foo - ~100 miles for the year so far

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I'm starting to get bummed.
This month has been so hectic that I have just not been able to find time to ride. Between prepping our house for sale, flu for me, taking my mom to the hospital, and packing to move, I think I've gotten in maybe 4 rides. May of 2006 was my best month of the year, but so far it's been a total bust. I can't even bring myself to update my bikejournal profile.
There's no end in sight either. We still have to move, unpack, do some work on the new house, and spend a week taking care of my mom post-surgery. I'll probably be lucky to get 1000 miles in for the year.

lol thanks.
Its okay Cydewaze :) Just try to think of it in a different light. New beginnings for this year and next year you'll be back on that bike, with the strong sense to knock out alot of miles :)

Yeah, it really sucks. I'm only a third of the way to my goal and the year is half over. I feel ya. Keep on it - even doing 10 minutes of hard intervals is better than nothing and will aid you when you CAN get the miles in.
It happens. Life isn't a static thing, and sometimes, you can't be on the bike as much. No big deal.
By the way, I've done zero weekday rides so far this year. And averaged less than one ride a week.

Actually the year is only 36% complete so you're doing ok.

You're not alone. But you seem to have a valid reason. I, on the other hand, am pretty much stuck in some kind of funk. While work is hectic, it's honestly not enough to really keep me from riding. I've more or less just wanted to eat and go to bed after getting home from work since the beginning of the year.

You best watch your mouth if you don't want me to kick your ass... after I eat these nachos and drink a few beers... and take a nap. Then you better watch yourself because I'll be strongly considering taking action, maybe...
Nevermind, I'm gonna go look at naked ladies.

I am under 100 this year, between travelling overseas, work at home and work at work, there is just not enough time.

btw, thanks cydewaze for making me feel better about my year to date miles!
Miles, Shmiles! It's only today's ride that matters.
