Hello~~ I fell into your forum and can't get out~~ Too GOOD!!
Am new to biking, (except for the Red Schwinn Santa provided years ago, got recycled each Christmas, I never knew)
Formal introduction came when a friend from the 5 x 10 mile Island of Jersey did the Southern Index and landed here~~ got my Bike (at near gunpoint, was not smart at the time) and as soon as I could walk upright again, it has been a clear of case of Pure Love~~ Is now a *green* Schwinn Sierra~~
Turned 53 on the 19th, few days ago~~ lifted my chin, squared my shoulders and embarked on my first trail experience~~ in total awe that I did the whole thing first try~~ not even a twinge the next day~~even though we are talking only 32 miles of flat and level to you old timers~~ it was the highlight of my life and a huge step from my daily 7 mile average~~Guess I underestimated how much I *could* do~~ :D
Am now, of course, looking for more highlights~~ or more of the same but faster~~
