Hello - I've been mtn biking for years but have recently purchased a road bike ('06 Novara Divano) with the intent of participating in one of CO's week long tours this year. Currently getting myself in shape and getting hooked on road riding in the process. This is a great site.

There are a lot of us that started on a mtb, and now ride the road as well. I'm one of those!

Welcome Colorider!

Hello colorider, it's nice to see that you're expanding your cycling experience, pretty soon we will have you hooked enough that you will have to come visit us in Classic & Vintage when you start collecting just one of those nice old steel bikes :D .

Welcome to BF!

Texas has been working on it's own state forum for a while :p . It's not a bad idea, though.

Will do East Hill. Although my mtb is a '96 Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo which when compared with the components available nowadays could be considered classic and vintage in itself.
