Finished my first project yay with very very much help from a friend.

Anyway, just started biking and wanted something to get around town in (less driving in a car) and to exercise and pleasure cruising in.

So came up with this.

Chicago built 80's Schwinn converted to a single speed.

control-tech stem
aluminum laprade seat post
caliper is a dia-compe
18t cog and some titanium spacers
Sugino crank

yellow and blue paint i will be changing and powdercoating.

Hope you like...its very fun and light.

Nice color- you need to move the rear wheel back and tighten the chain a bit more.

That stem could only be better if it were anodized turquoise.

Hate to be the forum curmudgeon, but I'm 23 now...that's old in hipster years.

But anyway, if it's SS and not fixed gear, you may consider getting a back brake, because it's you know...a lot safer.

Edit: Them is some wicked handlebars you gots.

well front brake is there because it will be a fixie sooner or later.

plus its not an all out speed bike...its mostly for cruising around town..back and forth places when i dont need a car.

anyway...any suggestions
