Sometimes at night you'll be fortunate enough to see a hot spot glowing where some of the cooler rock crust has just fallen off, but because of the low light noise of the camera, it just appears as a white blur a little to the right and above center.

If there's fresh snowfall you will often see steam rising in the daytime.

I pass most of my time at work hitting refresh to see if it's gone kaboom yet...
