Foo - Okay, so I had a 'tude. How would YOU have handled this?

I bought a Joe Blow SPRINT the other day. Upon first use the head was leaking. I fiddled with it the best I could (okay that sounded bad), thinking I must have done something wrong. So I googled reviews on it (should have done that BEFORE I bought it - but it was on sale) and found it was a common problem as verified by Mich. So back to the shop I go. Upon returning it, three of the workers there said the Joe Blow PRO was better with the "smart head" (man this sounds nasty) so I went to look at it.

Upon comparing the differences and pumping it up and down a little (hoo booy, yeah this sounds funny) this guy was smiling at me and made some comment about my thumb (???). I had NO idea what he was talking about. But he seemed friendly. :)

Anyway, he started to pick up a SPRINT and I warned him of my problem. I told him the air leaked out of the schrader side and maybe the presta side, and that even the workers said so. Told him they recommended THIS one (I pointed to the PRO) and he said to me: "Oh I don't have to worry about Schrader. I don't USE Schrader. Hmmph. My bikes have PRESTA!! I told him I use an adapter - (I have fears of bending the Presta since I've done so before). He AGAIN pressed on how he won't settle for anything BUT Presta, how his higher line bikes have Presta, how he will never own anything with a Schrader. I was like this: :eek: THEN..........(now get this)...

He snatched the one and only Joe Blow Pro and took off. I asked the guys if they had anymore and they didn't. :(

Follow him to the counter, tell the person there the guy took it from you and, unless they have a second one, you intended to purchase it when this guy just grabbed it.

Otherwise... just ask when they'll get a new shipment in and rest in the knowledge that karma will catch up with people like that.
