Finished my spinning class this afternoon and on my bike ride back home 25+ mph through traffic.. Suburban stopped about 10 feet in front of me and I hit the brakes and skid until I hit the back of Surburban. No broken bones, well, it's a little too early to tell since my thumb is swelling as I'm typing but lots of bruises and scratches. Wife thinks I'm an idiot for going so fast.. I actually agree with her this time.. Everything is fine.. just need to tell someone about it.

The only damage to the bike is the handlebars, broke into pieces..

Hope you're okay. I actually don't think it's the speed, but more of the shock of something you were not prepared for. I think the same thing would have happened at 20 mph.

I had two idiots crowd me nearly off the road today and then blew their horns....we all come close at times to injury....glad you are ok!
