I just got a Shimano Flight Deck cyclocomputer on my bike. It's the wired 6501 (one button on each side), but I got the manual for the 6500 somehow.
It says it is supposed to start up when I push any button or the wheel turns - not. I have been able to turn it on only by pushing a button on the bottom side of the display on the top left side. Then I need to go to the time display to zero by pushing both handlebar buttons.
Anyone using this who can offer some tips? What procedure do you follow at the start of each ride to ensure you collect the correct data (trip mileage, time)?
