"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - City Center at Oyster Point Criterium in Newport News, VA

Is anyone attending this race? I really want to but that whole jamestown celebration could make traffic even more of a nightmare then usual. Combine that with the later race time and I am not going to get home until real late.

Don't forget the Ladies PGA is in town at Kingsmill in Williamsburg - Natalie Gulbis. But the traffic will be no different than the normal Sunday afternoon beach traffic that 64 gets. Plus the 4 race isn't until 5 so you'll be out of there later so traffic will die down.
So come on down and race Riskus. A few of my teammates will be in the 4s with you (the ones that got lucky enough to race on Mom's day). Bring your wife and let her indulge in the day spa that's located there in the city center.

My wife is going to be more concerned with not getting home til like 10pm. She actually likes going to races.

I'm still undecided on this one. We'll see how I feel after Saturday's race, I think...

If you really want to get a "race" in on Sunday, try the 8:30 AM Bicycle Place ride and hang with the fast group. You'll suffer just as much, if not more. Just a thought if you want to save some driving.

Im in. My wife isnt sure if she wants to go but she doesnt want that to stop me!

Nah, just don't feel like doing that much driving. I'm staying in town for the team sufferfest in the Arlington hills. There's talk of cash primes. :)
