Well i was out on my first tour today with the local club. 7 of us left, at 10am this morning.
We had a really nice day to cycle in, not many clouds, and nice temperature. All in all we travelled 44miles, around the coast, which im pleased with, the furthest i have been yet. There were some nice bikes, one of my (new) friends had a really nice TCR* , Bianchi's (including mine:D ) a Gary fisher MTB and some other Giants.
We set off at an easy pace, around 16-17mph, for around 16miles, until we got to a flat piece of ground, the front guys took off, so i thought id try my best to follow, to see what i could do, we sprinted at 30mph for about 3miles, and then lowered it to about 25mph for another 4-5miles, and had a break at the end of the sprint, i nearly threw up i was that tired, but i was well pleased as i kept up well with the rest of the group.:) One guy dropped out, and we didnt see him for the rest of the day, (Gary fisher man) which was bad as he kept me going well at the start. :(
After a quick rest we set off again, a longish steepish (vague) climb, and then a bit of downhill. Once that part was completed, it was hell  a long steep harsh climb through a place called garvagh, it was mad and i fell behind badly, until i lost the head and took off, pretty much making up time, and then met the group at one of their breaks. I took of my helmet, and the sweat actually splatted on the ground  .
From then on was pretty nice, a 6-7mile downhill all the way back to the start, and then home.
Well i can still feel my legs:D , but they are a bit weak, enjoyed it, as everyone there was very encouraging, and helped me along nicely. Cant wait until next sunday :D .
Thanks for reading folks, and for all the encouragement in the past :D
* The bike was weird, only had a very small front chainring, which he said was better for him, as he competes, and its regulationg or something, still nice bike
