I want to share with you an article I found in Kent Peterson's blog (http://kentsbike.blogspot.com/2007/05/life-without-left-turns.html) -- a very nice bike blog I subscribe to, by the way. It has nothing to do with bicycles but it has something to do with being car-lite and car-free.

From time to time I read interesting articles in Bike Forums and especially here in Living Car Free. Now it's my turn to share one. I love this kind of tales. I hope you enjoy it too.

Love it - the phrase "three rights is the same as a left" is going to come in handy in a conversation soon, I just know it.

Nice read thank you for posting that. It reminds me of my Grandmother.

That was great, thanks. My grandpa used to say that as well.

My family has this saying:
Two wrongs don’t make a right but three lefts do.

I love the bit when he loses count on the number of right turns.

Oh, what a wonderful article. Thanks for posting that.

I got quite a giggle out of losing count, too. I would do that, and I'm only 33 - God help me when I'm 99! :)

Give up driving, walk (or bike) through life. LOL

I loved this article. It reminded me of my grandmother, too. I wonder what it was about Americans born near the turn of the last century that made so many of them, apparently, so decent , so loving, and yet so quirky?
