If anyone would know, it'd be Merton.

How can you have moobs if you are a girl?

Yes, soy has phytoestrogens. Taken in small amounts is fine, but in larger doses it acts just like an estrogen pill in men - decreases the sex drive, increases feminine characteristics and so forth. Esrtrogen increase is bad for women as well, since test is what fuels their sex drive and other hormonal processes as well.

Soy milk is not "milk." It's liquid from a plant. Animal milk doesn't have estrogen. And yes, breast milk is cheap if you can find the right girl. (wow did I say that out loud?)

Aikigreg, you don't know merton, do you?

This is something MERTON would have asked, not me. *sigh*

But I thank you for your answer! ;) (you were supposed to reply with a dumb answer not a good one!) :p

If milk can come out of a breast, it can be put back in....so get some milk, put it into a breast, and VOILA! BREAST MILK!!!!!!

Did I say that? Whoops. What I really meant to say was that per the lecture I got from mods, there is no such thing as sexuality.

I read in this book the bible that this cool dude jesus could walk on water. So I tried it myself and I fell in. I was wondering if I super glued my feet to some foam, if I could walk on water? It would make my morning commute to school so much faster. KKthx guys.

I did a double take when I saw this thread title with your name under it; I thought you had done a master hijacking of my thread for a moment!

"Thomas Merton was truly a renaissance man and the wide ranging scholarship on Merton's life and thought published in The Merton Annual witnesses eloquently to this. It is truly as multifaceted as Thomas Merton himself."

blood tastes salty, why is it salty?

It's an evolutionary thing. Mosquitos need the salt in their diet or they'd die and even thought they're annoying creatures that transmit malaria, that's what spurred on human ingenuity to both learn how to treat malaria and improve the public health through better sanitation and made it possible for Americans to be the first people to succeed in building the canal connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans through Panama allowing for more efficient commerce and higher consumption of goods so that American can bring about their premature deaths through environmental pollutants and diets rich in toxins now that malaria is no longer around to curb population growth. It's all part of the great cycle of life. Thanks for asking.

PS If you get a prescription for Lamictal, you might start lactating. It's one of the side effects.
