Foo - The Where's Tom Stormcrowe Today thread.

I got a call from Tom a few minutes ago. After a long tough drive with some 40mph winds, they are safe and sound in St. Ignace, MI. They are going to spend a few days there resting and site-seeing, including Mackinac Island, before heading out on the bikes. It seems cell service up there is spotty to non-existent, so updates may be more of a pain that first thought, but he promises to take lots of pics! For further updates stay tuned to this thread, same Tom channel, same Tom time. That is all. :D

I found a public access internet termnal, Hey all! Having a blast up here in the big woods! We're heading out to the Island(Macinac), means Turtle, by the way, in a few. There are also a few terminals for access up here on the UP at Big Boy Restaraunts. As I come across them, I'll log in and say hey! I'll also keep in touch with Chip! (Thanks for the mail drop service, Chip, ol Bro!)

No pics til we get home, my camera requires specific software and drivers to upload to a computer. I got some great shots out on Macinac Island today though. Imagine a town where cars are banned and the only transportation is either horse drawn or bicycle! It's cool! One bit of cognitive dissonance was the taxi's out on Macinac, horse drawn and radio dispatched!:eek: :D

I appear to have a sick wife, looks like the flu! She's been up half the night sick and has a fever. We're aborting and heading home. A three day rain has set in anyhow. We did get come riding in, did a bit out on Macinac Island and around St Ignace, but CRazylady isn't up to the ride.:(

Aww, I'm sorry Tom...I hate when you plan something fun and stuff happens. But you can always do it again another time. :) I hope the Mrs gets well soon.

Black bears are sissies. I've seen some on the Gander, and every time I do, they run off acting scared of me.

About Krazylady, if you mean the stomach flu, the trick is to have a ton of coca cola. It kills the stomach flu. If its the regular flu, all I can say is get better soon.:(
