Foo - I accidentally made a shirt. Is it sexy/hip/not?

Check it out. I've been using this old t-shirt to clean my chain, hubs, etc. for several months. It was starting to not absorb goop anymore so I put it through the washing machine. It came out like this and my wife immediately thought it was the $|-|!+:

Would you wear it? Should I make one for my 8-month old boy?

I want one! That would be hot with a screenprint over it. Thanks for the idea.

Nice. I've just been cutting up my old, unused tshirts to use as rags. I'll try that with the next one.

You could probably sell those for $30 and make a killing bilking hipsters. :D

Yah, I'd so get it if you could replicate the chain grease mark on the front. You should make one every 2 weeks and sell 'em on ebay.
Don't know if it's sexy or not, but it's kinda cool.
Might just have to give it a try, too!

Shirt 7, hair 10. :)
put What Not to Wear on speed dial...
with an expensive pair of jeans, and if the shirt were a little tighter it would look like a designer outfit.
it is cool looking, but because it is stretched out it looks like you made it.
but I would wear it. :)

It seems the trend the past few years has been fake wear/tear on clothes.
I never got it, but this shirt has lots of it.
....all my jeans wear/tear is done by myself...including the series of stripe tears near the ankle (where they get under the heel of my shoe, and I end up walking a hole in them...the joys of baggy jeans)

It looks like my t shirts from when I was a MM in the Navy. I wouldn't wear it.
That's what I do with my old shirts, dockers, and whatnot. Sans the whole trying to wear them after washing bit. Although, I did wear one of my old shirts to change oil in my car. Then it went back into the rag pile from whence it came.
Speaking of which, tt's about time to do the quarterly cleansing of greasy old clothes soon

see that is the thing.. it's FAKE wear....
that looks like real wear... fake wear on clothing is like modern art... it looks like it is on purpose, but is sitll wear.

Don't worry, your next load of laundry is going to look like that too.
My wife would beat me if I put something that greasy in the washer.

Awesome shirt, great model. Now I'm jealous on two counts.
Thanks for the idea, maybe I'll see if I can "accidentally" make one someday.

Sweetness on both accounts. (wife and shirt) Send a shirt to Lindsay Lohan and say it's by some undiscovered designer and the attention HO's in Hollywood will be all over.
Definetely keep the wife though, don't send her anywhere. Any wife who thinks that is the %$^& is a keeper.

That's what makes that shirt cool....it's been through heck to get that way.
It's like owning a bomber jacket and letting the leather get all mutilated and worn out....or buying one like that. The one that got that way through years always has more character to it. The wear and tear says a lot about where it's been and so forth.
....I still wish I remember where I left my old bomber....had it since i was in 8th grade...one side looked kinda new but heavily cracked (accident with weatherproofing), the rest looks abraded to hell, and various leather tints (saw everything from beer, to motor oil, to blood (usually from me getting hurt while working on a car))....that thing looked SO nice though.
....actually thinking about it, there's a certain woman I need to find a phone number for....I'm pretty sure she "borrowed" it....again..../sigh

um. no.
It's a cool shirt. I don't know if I would wear it. If it was a tighter fit then maybe. If it was completely clean then maybe I would wear it when I ride. You do give me idea for a tshirt though so good job.
I have some rags that would match it if you'd like them. $5/ea! hehe! ;)
