Howdy folks... it's been a while since I've been here regularly. Life's been... well, it's been life. Anyway, how you all doing?
The reason for this post is I just got a new bike. Here it is:
http://www.justanotherwebsite.net/images/deanss.jpg
It's a DEAN steel frame (reynolds 853) with an Easton EC30 fork. Shimano 105 cranks setup for single-speed using a singulator. Shimano 600 bottom bracket/headset/brakes, Dura-Ace brake levers and front hub, and a Campagnolo rear hub with a Mavic SUP (?) rim on the front and a Mavic CXP33 on the rear. Stem and seatpost are by Controltech, and it's got an SDC COMP TI saddle.
I don't know much about DEAN frames. I found www.deanbikes.com -- they have the same logo but seem to make titanium-only frames, whereas this one is steel. But it's an old frame, so that doesn't shock me.
I paid $150 in random parts, and I was also given a box of extra stuff.
Good deal? Tell me what you know about steel DEAN bikes.
Thanks!
Tim.
P.S. Yes, this is x-posted to the LiveJournal bikepirates community, my apologies to anyone who reads there, too.

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
